WATCH: Dani Barretto reveals she almost lost daughter Millie at birth

Celebrity vlogger Dani Barretto opened up about what happened hours before she gave birth to daughter Millie.

On her latest vlog, Dani revealed, for the first time, that she almost lost her daughter before giving birth to her.

"All throughout my pregnancy, perfect 'yung position niya for normal birth but last minute, they needed to do an emergency c-section," Dani said.

"Pagdating namin sa OB, when I hit my 39th week, I already told my OB, like, parang medyo hindi siya lalabas anytime soon.

"Like ang taas-taas pa ng tiyan ko noon and hindi pa nagda-drop 'yung baby to think na 39th week ko na 'yon and she was 7 pounds already."

Dani then revealed that, minutes before giving birth, the heartbeat of the baby went flat.

"Napunta sa point na 'yung heartbeat ni Millie, bumaba ng 80, that's very, very low," Dani revealed.

"80, tapos at one point nag-40, tapos nagkaroon ng time na nag-flat line siya.

"Noong nag-flat line siya, I flipped out. Like 'yun na 'yung, parang ang bilis ng emotions ko nung time na 'yon."

After a few hours, Dani successfully gave birth to Baby Millie. But instead of giving Baby Millie to Dani, doctors had to immediately treat the baby.

"Nakain na niya 'yung poop niya and we don't even know how long, like hindi namin alam if ano'ng nangyayari inside kasi 'yung namo-monitor mo lang naman is the heartbeat and the contractions," Dani told.

Dani's husband Javi added that the doctors then suctioned out the fecal matters inside Baby Millie.

"She got an infection from that but we're clear na," Javi assured.
